We aren’t ignoring life’s challenges, instead, we’re learning to recognise the small things that remain with us as support and guidance.

Menopause and Neurodivergence: A Story of Amplification
Life After Menopause: Understanding Your Body’s Next Chapter
This session explores what happens in the body once periods have stopped and the hormonal landscape has settled into its new rhythm.
Drawing on a blend of modern health understanding and holistic approaches, the session will help women understand their bodies with greater confidence, recognise what is healthy, and learn practical ways to support themselves through this next stage of life.
Facilitated by Sarah Darwen, a women’s health specialist and therapist.
Mindfulness and Self-Compassion at Work and Beyond
This session explores the overlap between menopause and neurodivergence, and why hormonal changes can amplify existing sensitivities related to focus, mood, sleep, stress regulation, and sensory processing.
Combining neuroscience, hormones, and lived experience, this session offers a practical, neuro-affirming perspective on what is happening beneath the surface and how women and workplaces can better support this transition.
Facilitated by Scotti McLaren, a functional medicine practitioner.
Discover what workplace mindfulness really is (and isn't), how it helps regulate stress and sharpen focus, and how self-compassion can reduce self-doubt and self-blame so you can respond more wisely when things feel overwhelming.
You'll also learn practical techniques you can use immediately between meetings, before difficult conversations or on those days when your confidence feels a little fragile.
Facilitated by Victoria Brookbank, co-founder of MenoMinds.
Understanding Impostor Syndrome and Building Self-Confidence
Wednesday 15th July @ 12:00pm
Many women experience moments of self-doubt, fear of failure, or the feeling that they’re somehow “not good enough,” despite clear evidence of their success. This practical and empowering MenoMind's Academy workshop explores the psychology behind impostor syndrome and provides evidence-based tools to help participants build confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.
Through guided reflection, mindset techniques, mindfulness tools, and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to challenge negative thinking patterns, manage perfectionism, and reframe setbacks as opportunities for growth.
Facilitated by Victoria Brookbank co-founder of MenoMinds.

What are the Academy sessions?
The MenoMinds Academy runs monthly 50-minute online sessions, designed to be supportive, practical and easy to attend alongside busy working lives.
Each session includes:
A short, focused talk from an expert
Evidence-based insights, grounded in lived experience
Space to connect with other women who have attended the MenoMinds course
Time for reflection, shared learning and gentle conversation
This isn’t about information overload or fixing yourself. It’s about normalising, understanding and supporting what you’re experiencing together.
Topics we explore
The Academy expert talks respond to what women tell us they need most and are recorded for you to access anytime. Topics include:
Mindfulness – practical tools for focus, calm and emotional regulation
Imposter syndrome – understanding self-doubt and rebuilding confidence
Self-compassion – learning to be kinder to yourself during change
Sleep – supporting rest, energy and cognitive clarity
Nutrition – nourishing your body and brain through menopause
Gratitude and mindset – building resilience without toxic positivity
And other themes shaped by the realities of women’s lived experience
Each session offers something you can take away and apply, without pressure or perfection.
Who is the Academy for?
The MenoMinds Academy is for women who have completed the MenoMinds course and want:
Ongoing learning rather than a one-off experience
A sense of belonging and shared understanding
Space to talk openly about menopause without judgement
Expert guidance that feels human, not clinical
To continue developing tools that support their wellbeing at work and beyond
Many women tell us the most powerful part of MenoMinds is realising they’re not alone. The Academy keeps that connection alive.
